Nominations now open for 2024 Women in Credit Awards

Championing the work of women and allies across the entire credit and financial services sector, the programme will empower, connect, support and uncover achievements among inspirational figures in the profession. 

It’s the only awards programme exclusively focused on celebrating those inspirational individuals that are breaking down barriers and improving diversity in the financial services industry – which has been male-dominated for a long time. 

Up for grabs on 9 October are a comprehensive set of awards specially curated to celebrate empowerment, awareness and allyship in the financial services industry.

One of the jewel’s in the crown of this prestigious ceremony is the Outstanding Returner award, which will give the industry a chance to celebrate the women who have returned to to work in the UK financial services sector – whether that be from a sabbatical, for health reasons, on maternity leave or anything else – and have acted as an incredible role model for other women. 

The event will highlight those who have been guiding, inspiring and supporting the development of women in credit through the Mentor of the Year Award, as well as recognising the industry’s up-and-coming talent through the Rising Star of the Year award. 

Another landmark part of the evening comes in the form of the Team Leader of the Year award, presented to and competed for by women who have shown an exceptional ability in leading a functional team with incredible results for the team she works for. 

Credit Strategy has also decided to expand the reach of the Women in Credit Awards and Conference by taking it on the road to the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester. This move reflects a deliberate effort to engage with a broader and more diverse audience.

The early entry fee, which is £188+VAT, will be applied to all entries submitted by 26 April 2024, after which a standard entry fee of £278+VAT will be applied until the extended deadline of 28 June 2024.
