Car Finance Awards celebrates best of the industry

Sponsored by ALPHERA Financial Services, Auto Trader, and Warrantywise the ceremony was held at The Monastery in Manchester, 15 May.

The gala dinner served as a unifying platform for the industry to come together, support one another, and share best practices. Guests were treated to an after-dinner comedy routine from Keith Farnan who went on to present the awards to the winners.

The big winners on the night were Evolution Funding and Tandem Bank, with both companies collecting three awards apiece.

The awards ceremony acknowledged standout performers across 19 categories with notable wins for DSG Group for Best Company to Work For, BMW Group Financial Services for the Company Award for Diversity & Inclusion, and Voyc & Advantage Finance for Best Use of Technology. The Rising Star Award, recognising emerging talent, went to Lana Poleon at JBR Capital for her exceptional contributions.

The Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award went to Catherine Faiers, Auto Trader. This prestigious award is presented to an individual who has made a significant and lasting impact on the industry during their tenure.

The evening also presented an opportunity for the industry to give back by collecting money for Credit Strategy’s chosen charity Shooting Stars Children’s Hospices, with a total of £1617 raised on the night.

Attendees were also given a unique chance to win a ticket and a two night’s accommodation for Credit Strategy’s flagship conference, Credit Week, held 17 – 19 June 2024, at the prestigious Celtic Manor, Newport.

The Car Finance Awards served as a testament to the industry’s perseverance and commitment to excellence, even in the face of adversity. As the sector continues to navigate challenges, events like these foster a sense of community, celebrate achievements, and inspire continued growth and innovation.
