Returning to Celtic Manor on 1 July as part of the second annual Credit Week, the awards will once again celebrate the outstanding leaders shaping the credit and financial services industry through innovation and excellence.

Entrants will be competing head-to-head to claim one of the more than 20 awards up for grabs, each one rewarding best-in-class leadership right across the credit industry, including car finance, mortgage lending, and utilities and telecoms.

The awards are split into two types of work, these being the Outstanding Leader and Business Leader of the Year awards. Key to this split is ensure the awards celebrate leadership at all levels, with the Business Leader of Year awards going to those more senior in an organisation while the Outstanding Leader awards go to those who have demonstrated excellent leadership no matter their seniority.

Deciding their fate will be some of the credit industry’s leading names, including Santander’s director of retail credit risk James Tebboth, DSG Finance’s chief executive Richard Hoggart and Shawbrook’s chief risk officer Hugh Fitzpatrick.

Reflecting on the awards’ importance, Hoggart said: "The Leadership Awards are unique. Leaders and achievers get to highlight real actions that have enhanced the organisations for whom they work.

"Individuals, away from the collective organisational performance."

Entering The Leadership Awards is a simple four-step process; choose your categories, check the entry criteria, write your 500-word entries, and enter before the 21 March 2025 deadline.
