The winners of the Credit Strategy event, which is the only awards programme to connect dealers, lenders and brokers, were announced last night (5 October) at The Point in Manchester.

Mark Standish, who left his role as chief executive of MotoNovo after 22 years at the company, won the coveted Car Finance Personality of the Year award. Alphabet GB’s communications director Katie Asplin, meanwhile, seems to be the industry’s one to watch after winning the Rising Star Award.
Other winners included BMW Financial Services’ Mike Dennett, who won Business Leader of the Year, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, which won the Best Company to Work for in Car Finance award, and Evolution Funding, which won the Best Broker award, sponsored by Specialist Motor Finance, for the sixth time in a row.
Critically acclaimed comedian George Lewis entertained the audience and hosted the awards alongside Credit Strategy’s chief executive Luke Broadhurst.
The Car Finance Awards supported Shooting Star Children’s Hospices through a silent auction, which raised £5,015.
