Collections strategy, collections in trying times, and the impact of digital wallets will be a few of the topics discussed in 2023’s Collections stream, at the Credit Summit 2023, part of Credit Week.
The Collections stream agenda, the second of seven Credit Summit streams, has been revealed today.
Collections is a fluid industry; change is both familiar and expected. Technology and economic developments ripple through the industry, affecting both collectors and those in debt. The nature of the industry highlights the importance of the Collections stream, a must attend for all in order to expand your knowledge and properly equip yourself and your business for changes in the industry.
The first session will be focussing on the challenges of opportunities of collection strategy, including identifying fraud and prioritising and adjusting debt to collect. Other sessions will cover topics ranging from government intervention, reliance on data and analytics, as well as personalised long-term collections plans.
The agenda also looks at diversity and analyses how far the industry has come in the past year. A topical and vital discussion within every industry, our expert speakers will delve into the core of the issues surrounding diversity, with a focus on improving diversity in leadership.
The stream will conclude with a CRO (chief risk officer) panel titled: ‘Tackling cost-of-living crisis’. In this informative and eye-opening session, the panel will share their experiences on how they have been handling the cost-of-living crisis, the available support for both customers and employees, as well as how to prepare for future challenges.
