The credit industry’s most influential conferences will be brought under one roof at Credit Week, Credit Strategy is pleased to announce.

Credit Week has evolved into the leading destination event for credit and financial services, bringing together industry-leading conference programmes from the Credit Summit, Lending Summit, Car Finance Conference, Collections, Debt Sale and Purchase and Utilities & Telecoms Conferences, for three days of never-before-seen cross-sector networking, alongside Credit Strategy’s industry-leading and cross-pollinating conference sessions.
This destination event will take place at the iconic home of the 2010 Ryder Cup, Celtic Manor in Newport from the 17 to 19 June, and will feature an agenda that will cover every aspect of the credit and finance industries, from the decisions made in the provision of credit, all the way through to the delicate nature of recovery.
Commenting on its decision to evolve the format of Credit Week, Credit Strategy chief executive Luke Broadhurst said: "Credit Week will ’bring the outside in’, answering isolation and providing vital knowledge with three days dedicated to the industry’s challenges and opportunities.
"We conducted research that tells us our community now works at home 50% of the time, leading to isolation and decreased levels of knowledge and education, so evolving Credit Week into a true destination event delivering cross pollinating content you couldn’t get anywhere else, was clearly the right way to go."
Credit Week will come in the middle of what will be another huge year for everyone involved in the financial services industry – with 2024 likely to see yet more fallout from the cost-of-living crisis, as well as the full implementation of Consumer Duty and the international climate causing yet more turmoil for the global energy market. And that’s before we mention the likelihood of next year’s general election.
As such, we have planned an agenda designed to facilitate conversations and learning opportunities to address every one of these challenges, and many more besides. Attendees will, for example, hear from leading economic experts who will deliver industry forecasts – guiding us through what is going to be an increasingly volatile economic environment.
In an environment which is seeing the number of those suffering from financial hardship growing, we’ll also investigate the latest techniques when identifying customers’ vulnerabilities, and how best to support them.
Outside of Credit Week’s renowned education programme, the event will provide the very best networking experiences both formal, but also encompassing, private dinners, barbecues, wellness, sporting activities and much more.
With over 80 sessions featuring more than 150 industry-leading experts, Credit Week will be industry’s must attend event of the year.

For the first time ever, Credit Week will also play host to next year’s Credit Awards gala dinner, headline sponsored by C&R Software.
Into its 25th year, the event – taking place at Celtic Manor on 18 June – is the culmination of the legendary Credit Awards, which will next feature five new categories: Best Consumer Credit Product, Best Open Banking Platform, Best Use of Open Banking, Company Award for Climate Risk Action and Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.
