In addition to this, the Consumer Credit Trade Association’s chief executive Jason Wassell investigates how the Financial Conduct Authority can better understand customers using alternative lending products. Thinkmoney’s head of internal audit Tim Sykes, meanwhile, takes a look at the reputation of internal audits and how they need to change.

The magazine also features an interview with Yorkshire Building Society’s chief risk officer, Richard Wells, and Virgin Money’s chief credit officer Derek Treanor and chief risk officer Mark Thundercliffe. As well as this, Southern Water’s vulnerability lead Rachel Ryan-Crisp outlines what other sectors can learn from utilities in identifying and dealing with vulnerable consumers.

Alongside this, the issue highlights some of the events Credit Strategy will host over the next few months, including the Lending Awards, TRI Awards and the Collections & Vulnerability Summit.
