Credit Strategy are delighted to announce that renowned journalist and presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy will be the host of 2023’s Credit Summit.
A household name, Guru Murthy has been a staple of our screens for decades. Beginning his career at the BBC in 1988. The Royal Television Society Journalism Awards nominated him twice for News Presenter of the Year, in 2010 and 2014.
He also hosts Ways to Change the World, a podcast in which he discusses politics with the guest of the week.
The Credit Summit is the UK’s largest, most established credit summit. The event boasts seven dedicated streams covering key themes across risk, regulation, culture, leadership, and fraud prevention, as well as thought-provoking plenary sessions and membership roundtables.
Covering topics such as ‘Managing risk through the cost-of-living crisis’ and ‘Affordable vs. unaffordable lending’, the Credit Summit is your chance to join practitioners from leading organisations and debate the credit industry’s most pressing challenges.
Guru-Murthy joins speakers such as Jason Wassell, Lindsay Gustafsson and Cyrille Salle de Chou gracing the halls of the QEII centre in London.
Group editor at Credit Strategy, Michal Lodej, commented: “Krishnan is a fantastic addition to the Credit Summit line-up. His years of experience as a journalist and host alone will help to glue together the already brilliant speakers onboard.
“However, add to this his knowledge of government systems and his experience in covering the economy and financial institutions, his participation is huge a feather in the cap for Credit Summit 2023.”
