The Car Finance Awards has grown to become the only awards programme of its kind to connect dealers, lenders and brokers to celebrate and reward success across the industry.
The awards followed a new-look Car Finance Conference, the only conference dedicated to lenders and retailers in UK point of sale motor finance. The conference featured, as hosts, Close Brothers Motor Finance managing director Sean Kemple, along with Peter Cottle, head of automotive sector at Growcap, chairing debates on the outlook for the industry post Brexit and post pandemic, modernising the car buying experience, forbearance and regulation.
The conference preceded the digital awards ceremony, marking the culmination of a programme in which the independent judging panel assessed entries from lenders, dealers and brokers. The judging panel comprised experts working in roles such as head of motor finance, head of finance and managing directors across firms such as ALPHERA Financial Services, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, the Finance & Leasing Association, Northridge Finance, GrowCap and others.
Winners on the night, which was hosted by comedian and Mock the Week panellist Ivo Graham, included MotoNovo Finance - awarded Best Independent Lender (Bank Owned), and Oracle Car Finance, which won Best Specialist Car Finance Provider.
