Nigel Farage has launched a legal battle with NatWest over the closure of his accounts at private bank Coutts.

The former UKIP leader and MEP said he’s instructing lawyers to take action against the bank with the aim of turning it into a class action. It follows an independent review that said, although there were “serious failings” over the bank’s treatment of Farage, the decision was lawful.
Posting an image of a Sky News story announcing the legal move, the former politician wrote on X “NatWest must be held accountable.” It has been reported he has instructed London-based law firm Grosvenor Law to act for him and will begin the legal battle next week.
According to the outlet, an unnamed source said Farage could seek millions over the damage to his reputation and to cover his legal costs.
