Credit Strategy shares the country’s deep sadness at the loss of Her Majesty, who celebrated her Platinum Jubilee in February marking 70 years of her reign. An ever-present force in both Britain and the world, the Queen’s long reign reflects her lifelong dedication to public service.

Her Majesty served as the head of the Commonwealth, and remained head of state for 14 countries across the world, and her loss will be felt deeply, both at home and internationally.

Her Majesty met 13 US Presidents, and appointed 15 Prime Ministers throughout her long reign, and would meet with each PM once per week, to offer advice and wisdom to them.

She recently met with Liz Truss in Balmoral, in order to formally ask her to form a government in her name. She was the longest reigning monarch in British history, the second-longest reigning monarch in history and the longest reigning Queen of all time.

Commenting on the loss of Her Majesty, Shard Financial Media CEO Luke Broadhurst had this to say: “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has been a constant in all our lives, the embodiment of kindness and the ultimate regal icon. But she also represented modernity, diversity, and was the most famous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. May she rest in peace.”
