Credit Strategy and TRI News are delighted to confirm the full shortlist for the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards 2019, sponsored by Capa.
Editor at Credit Strategy. Previously held roles at Accountancy Age, Accountancy Daily and the Leicester Mercury.
This year has seen the awards receive a grand total of 117 entries from right across the profession, including big name insolvency firms such as EY, KPMG, Grant Thornton, FTI Consulting and lawyers DLA Piper.
Once again, the TRI Awards will champion the companies and individuals across the TRI arena who are leading the charge for diversity.
After a successful introduction in 2018, the awards will again feature the Diversity Champion category and the TRI Company Award for Diversity and Inclusion. But in the spirit of evolving alongside the profession, and in a bid to recognise exceptional work that until now hasn’t been included in the awards programme, the TRI Awards 2019 will also feature the following new categories:
The Special Award for Pro Bono Service is open to all individuals, from officers, agents and managers up to turnaround practitioners, insolvency practitioners and lawyers, providing their services on this basis.
In this category, judges will be looking for details on the services undertaken and ultimate outcomes for those to whom the services are provided. The category is also designed to reward those providing a wider societal benefit, such as access to justice or any other services relevant to the TRI profession.
The TRI Employer of the Year category has also been introduced, to recognise companies with outstanding staff satisfaction and engagement levels, HR policies that ensure staff welfare and a commitment to training, coaching and career progression.
