Novuna Consumer Finance and Experian were among the winners at last night’s (1 June) Credit Awards, headline sponsored by FICO
Returning for its 24th consecutive year, the awards took place at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Known as “the Oscars of the industry”, Credit Strategy’s flagship awards programme recognised and celebrated the innovation, best practice and hard work of individuals, business divisions and pan-global conglomerates across the entire industry.

Guests were entertained by comedian Katharine Ryan, who hosted the event. Guests also raised money for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices through the form of a silent auction, which raised more than £34,000. Link Financial, Credit Strategy’s charity partner, graciously donated £25,000 to celebrate their 25 year anniversary.
Featuring a "Hits or Misses" guessing game, a DJ, a Saxophone Artist, as well as a "Movie Trailer" competition in which entrants shot and edited a film trailer for their company, it was a night for the ages.
Some of the winners on the night - which was also sponsored by Cabot Credit Management, C&R Software, MERJE, Link Financial, and Connected Data - included HSBC, which won Credit Modelling and Risk Team of the Year and JaJa Finance, who won Consumer Credit Team of the Year.
Ecospend, meanwhile, won the Best Technology Provider, as well as Public Sector Team of the Year.
The late Jenny Oldfield was the recipient of our Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating an incredible career and an even more incredible woman.
