Critically acclaimed comedian, Jen Brister, entertained the audience and hosted the awards alongside Credit Strategy’s very own group editor Amber-Ainsley Pritchard.
The highly anticipated Woman of the Year Award went to Rula Samara from Hitachi Capital UK, and Denise Crossley from Lantern received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Crossley always goes above and beyond to support her team and the company’s mission, and is driven to improve support for vulnerable customers.
The Women in Credit Awards supported the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices through a raffle, which raised £4,811.
Credit Strategy also shared its commitment to raising diversity standards across its events portfolio and publications, to include a higher proportion of senior women in the industry within each platform.
This includes increasing the proportion of female leaders in the Credit 500 by 25%, raising the number of in-print and online content contributors by 25%, and making sure at least 30 percent more of our event speakers and judges are women.
At last night’s events, also sponsored by Alphera Financial Services, we announced that the nominations for the Credit 500 2022 are now open.
