Winners of Women in Credit Awards 2022 revealed

The awards marked the fourth in-person iteration of the awards, along with the first Women in Credit Conference.

Well renowned comedian Lucy Porter graciously hosted the event and announced the winners, entertaining the audience alongside Credit Strategy’s Marketing Director Lauren McWilliams.

The winners of the highly coveted Woman of the Year were Patsy Legender from Newcastle Strategic Solutions and Catherine Marksman from Flint Bishop, Creditor and Non-creditor, respectively.

Patsy’s entry wowed the judges with detailed examples of how she goes above and beyond to support veterans, being described by the judges as a “great woman” and “inspirational in many ways”. Marksman’s entry showed a clear dedication to nurturing the next generation of women in credit, always looking to actively mentor colleagues by sharing her advice and experience. Huge congratulations are in order for both of them.

The Women in Credit raffle in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK raised £9,590, a wonderful achievement.
