1. In your opinion, why do you think representation should be more championed in the industry?

A: Research has shown time and time again that having a balanced workforce is good for customers, for profitability and workplace culture, and is increasingly attractive for investors.

2. What advice would you give to the next generation of women in the industry?

A: It’s important to define yourself and have the bravery to be who you are and to advocate for yourself.

3. In your opinion or experience, please name 1-2 things that can be done by a) individuals b) companies and/or c) society to support the elevation of women in senior positions in the industry?

A: Individual leaders should identify potential/aspiring female leaders and put in place a mentorship programme for them. Companies should create work environments that welcome and celebrate different experiences and points of view and they should put in place measurements to track their progress and commitment eg Women in Finance Charter.
