The event, supported by Aro, will be held for the first time at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester on 9 October for the 2024 Women in Credit Awards
Rob McDowell, chief executive of headline sponsor 4most, said: “We understand the importance of empowering our female colleagues and the role this plays in promoting positive change.
“Celebrating all facets of diversity is a core pillar at 4most and we are proud to be once again sponsoring such a vital event that shines a light on the incredible contributions these women and promoters of equality have made to the industry. Congratulations to all those shortlisted, we look forward to what I’m sure will be an amazing night!”
We have well over 100 entries in contention across the 20 categories, with figures from some of the industry’s leading names such as Novuna, Lloyds, Nationwide, Santander and Experian all battling it out for top honours.
Eighteen of the credit industry’s most influential figures, including Claire Moore, Chief Risk Officer at Azzurro Associates, Polina Ievskaya, Chief Risk Officer at HSBC UK, and Catherine Douglas, Chief People and Sustainability Officer at The Co-operative Bank, will play a key role in deciding who takes the gold this year.

The awards will take place straight after this year’s Women in Credit Conference, sponsored by Aro. In its third edition – and also taking place at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester – attendees will have the chance to join like-minded professionals to solve the challenges and enhance opportunities for women in the credit industry.
This year’s event has a keen focus on allyship, with sessions designed specifically to help improve awareness and hammer home the importance of male allies in driving systemic change and helping to build a more equal credit industry.
