Into its sixth year, it’s the only awards programme that rewards individuals, teams and businesses across the alternative lending, commercial finance and mortgage industries. It comes at a crucial time for the lending industry as whole, with the cost-of-living crisis pushing many lenders’ consumers into increasingly vulnerable positions – making it more important than ever to share best practice and celebrate those leading the industry.
Deciding the fate of this year’s entries are 15 of the country’s leading industry figures – including HSBC’s head of mortgage products Andrew Matson, Starling Bank director Naila Malik and Close Brothers Motor Finance’s head of marketing Neil Leonard.
The awards, supported by Link Financial, will reveal who’s the lending industry’s ones to watch out for with the Rising Star award, as well as highlight the champions of small business through the Best Support for SMEs and Alternative SME Lender of the Year awards.

Taking place on 14 November at the Hilton London Watford, the event will be immediately preceded by the Lending Summit, sponsored by Experian, LDMS and Lenvi. Taking place on the same day at the same venue, the summit will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss the Consumer Duty, investigate green lending and explore the changing face of fraud.
