EDF and DebtStream were among the big winners at last night’s (11 October) Vulnerability Awareness Gala, featuring the Collections & Customer Service (CCS) Awards and Utilities & Telecoms (U&T) Awards.

Supported by category sponsors Lantern and Sonex Financial, as well as charity partner Link Financial, it was the 17th iteration of the awards – celebrating the best and brightest in the industry. The event immediately followed this year’s Collections & Vulnerability Summit, headline sponsored by Lantern.

Those in attendance at The Point Old Trafford in Manchester were entertained by award winning comedian Gary Delaney – as well as Shard Financial Media’s commercial director Louis Bryant.
Some of the big winners on the night included DebtStream – which took home two CCS awards, these being the Best Technology Provider and Best Use of Technology awards – as well as EDF – which also won two U&T awards, namely the Best Vulnerable Customer Support Initiative and Energy Team of the Year awards.
The event also saw those in attendance more than £2,900 for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
